Thursday, December 25th -- Downtown Disney & Hollywood Studios
Merry Christmas! We woke up bright and early this morning! There were stockings to open, gifts from Auntie Jill and Uncle Warren and a boutique appointment to get ready for.
I had made reservations in August for the Bibidi Bobidi Boutique for all 3 girls. This was another surprise for them. Mom, Jill and I took them for a "girls morning", while everyone else headed to Hollywood Studios.
They were very excited to get their hair, nails and makeup done...they're such girly-girls! AA smiled after we left...she gets a little nervous when too many people are looking at her, so she doesn't look like she had a good time, but she really did! The girls looked adorable and so grown up!
After the boutique, we made our way to HS to meet the rest of our group. We grabbed fast passes for Aerosmith's Rockin' Roller Coaster and the Tower of Terror and grabbed some lunch.
Then it was time for some rides! Part of our group rode the Rockin' Roller Coaster, and the rest of us waited. Then dad and I rode the RRC together. It was amazing! To go from 0 to 60 in about 2 seconds was quite the rush! After that, mom and dad took the girls so that Billie and I could jump on the Tower of Terror. (Yes, I rode those 2 rides back to back!)
We met up with mom and dad in time to take the girls to see "Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage". AA was sacked out but woke up shortly after it started. It was a wonderful show. Just like everything else!
Dinner was back at the resort with mom and dad, while Jill and Warren enjoyed dinner with Aunt Beth and Uncle Gene. We took the ferry from our resort to Downtown Disney, which was a very relaxing 25 minute ride. The girls were ready to spend some of their souvenir money and I was determined to have silhouettes of them made. My mom had the silhouettes done of my sister and I when we came to Disney for a day when we were kids. It was something that I wanted for my girls too!
We found the silhouette guy and sat the girls down one at a time to have their profiles cut from black paper. They turned out so good! What an amazing talent!
By this time, it was late again and time to head back to our rooms and bed...and packing. It was our last night...so sad!
