Just have to brag on my kiddos for a second!
AudreyAnn completely dressed herself today...down to the shoes and socks! Her shirt wasn't on backwards or anything! Sigh...
JennahKay and Lorahbeth learned to tie their shoes today. Yes, that's right, today. Billie sat down with them for about 30 minutes this afternoon, and by the time we left for the Christmas parade, they had both tied their shoes. Sigh again...
My almost 7 year old (in 3 weeks and 1 day) first grader has a part in the children's choir musical tomorrow night. She's reading this (no kidding):
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph and the babe lying in a manger.
17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.
18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.
19 But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart.
20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
She was just asked to read this morning at the rehearsal and did a cold read, stumbling a little on "swaddling" and "pondered".
I am so proud of her. Billie and I truly believe that God has given her a gift of reading. We are so excited that she is able to use this gift tomorrow night.
I'm sure to be a mess!
Sighing again...so proud of my girls.
So proud to be their mom whether they're doing great or really bombing.
Just proud all the time!

Hey Shana... with tears I just say WOW!!!
So it is Sunday night.... how did our girl do in the program? Great! I'm sure!!! It would have been such fun if me and Paw Paw could of been there...
Do tell JennahKay we are so proud of her... We are proud of all three girls. Hugs and kisses to our three lovely granddaughters.
Love,
Maw Maw and Paw Paw
It's funny how that "proud" thing just pops up from time to time. We love our children unconditionally and then something like this happens and we about burst every button on our shirts!
It's like the time we first heard YOU our daughter sing in church! You were in 5th grade and got the solo part in a Christmas play. I was totally and wonderfully amazed at hearing you sing! WOW, my daughter!!!! can sing like that! double wow!
And you know that you continue to amaze me!!! And I still say, Wow, my daughter!
This pic will be you and your girls in about 30 yrs!!!History repeating itself in unconditional love toward each other.
I am so proud of KK an how God is going to use her. I am so happy that AA can dress herself, she is growing up! Happy face for LB also for tieing her shoes!!!! How great that she is becoming self-sufficiant!
Love you baby girl of mine!
