1 Month Home!

Wow. I can't believe that we've had Miss EG home for a month already. It's flown by. We have gotten back into our routine and started back with school yesterday. So far, so good!

About EG:

*She's doing great with bedtime...sleeps in her bed all night.
*She eats like a champ...doesn't refuse anything but milk.
*She loves her sisters and loves to play with them.
*Her vocabulary is exploding. She repeats anything that we say, and is starting to say things on her own.
*She has called us 'mommy' and 'daddy' since the first week home.
*She knows who each of her sisters are and calls them by name.
*She's doing great at church. I sit in her room with her and she's starting to play more as long as she's by my feet.
*She hates to be disciplined, but it has to be done!
*Her list of words...mommy, daddy, JK, LB, AA, yummy, please, thank you, bless you, up, potty, bottom (her current fave...laughs anytime she says it), baby, I love you, pretty, banana, flowers...
*She loves to hug and kiss!
*She loves to color.

Overall, we are so amazed and thankful to the Lord for how well she has adjusted. She's just an amazing girl, and she is a perfect fit for our family! We have been truly blessed!

The other 3 are doing amazing. This is a stressful time for them, but they just love the mess out of her. I have to tell them periodically to leave her alone!
