Update...

...well, we've been in school for almost 2 weeks now and we're surprisingly all still alive! The girls are both having a blast and are eager to learn. We've made through LB's introduction to writing numbers and JK will start working on addition on Monday...sufice it to say that she's more than ready.

All this time I didn't think LB knew any of her letters...well, she's been pretending not to know any of them. I did a brief flashcard game with her just to see where she is, and she knew at least half of the letters/sounds. So she's further along than I thought. That's a relief!

JK is still reading anything that she can get her hands on, and she loves to read to her sisters. Her recent favorites are Arthur books from the library.

AA has adjusted well to us having school in the mornings...she's content to color or watch Sesame Street while we're busy.
