A Painting We Will Go...

Yes, I am in home reno mode. Now that the girls' bathroom has been done, I'm ready to fire up the old paint roller. The only problem is my husband...he can't stand to paint...he loathes it actually. So when he suggested that we prime the living room walls the other night, I cleaned my ears out and asked him to repeat himself. Yes, he really did use the "paint" word. So that's what we did Tuesday night. Covered up the ugly hunter green mess with a nice tan. I must have rolled more than I thought, because on Wednesday morning I bent over to pick something up off the floor and my back went crazy. I spent the day lying around, not able to move. That's what happens when you get old, I guess!

Needless to say, I started feeling better by Thursday morning. Jennie, Scott and the kids came to visit overnight on Thursday. We always enjoy having them come to visit! And guess what Billie and Scott did on Friday morning? This...

I love the chocolate brown on my walls. This is the look I'm going for. The artwork and pics aren't on the walls yet, and the ceiling fan isn't up, but we still are very pleased with the way it turned out. Thank you Scott for assisting my husband!
