It's been...

...a good weekend!  We had a great time with Billie's family on Thanksgiving day.  He had to work on Friday, so the girls and I chilled for the day.

On Saturday evening we put up the tree. I can't explain how overwhelming it was to decorate our tree in our house.  The last time that took place was in 2010.  We were so excited and a bit in shock that it was happening finally!  The tree is a small work in progress...the girls and I will finish it up his week!

This afternoon was a busy one, as 2 of the 4 had small group Christmas parties. Billie had AA and EG at AA's party. I went with JK and LB to LB's skating party.  Skating.  Yes.  I skated, too.  It's been over 20 years since the last turn around the rink!  Amazingly, I didn't fall!  I will, however, be sore in the morning.  JK and LB didn't fare as well, I'm afraid.  We are currently counting the bruises.  

After the parties, we came home and finished unpacking the Christmas decorations.  I got the most important one finished first. 

The girls plan to help with the multitude of snowmen this week, in between schoolwork, play practice, and more schoolwork. 

That's our weekend in a nutshell!  Busy as usual, but tons of fun!
