...is so fun. And so exhausting!
We just returned from our first get-away as a family in over a year. We did a grand sweep of the south, logging in over 1,900 miles and 34 hours of drive time. Tired yet?!? I am!
O-hi-O...get it?!?
Kentucky...
We played the ABC game...Tennessee...
Huntsville...
Alabama...
We started in Mississippi, seeing Billie's parents for the first time in over a year, and his grandparents for the first time in 5 years. We also stopped by USM which was a blast of memories!
We headed to Dothan after that to see Jennie, Scott, and the kids, whom we hadn't seen in a year as well. Jennie and I got pedis, and Billie worked the mid shift with Scott.
On Thursday, we made it to Hawkinsville, and stayed with our dear friends, the Colemans.
Friday saw us visiting a few people, dropping the girls off with friends for the night, and having dinner and catching up with others. That night was the Hawkinsville High School graduation. It was hot, humid, and full of gnats. Three things we don't miss about the south!
We spent the night with other friends after graduation, picked up the girls Saturday morning, and headed to Atlanta to have lunch with more friends. We stopped for the night in Knoxville, and arrived home Sunday night, our 12th anniversary!
I'm tired just having typed all that! We did have a great week as a family, but are glad to be back to our normal routine again!
What's next? Finishing up school...ballet recital...VBS...summer break...the usual busy! It's a good kind of busy though!
(These pics were all taken with my phone...something different this time around...enjoy!)

Wish I'd known you were in the 'Burg. We'd have met you on campus! Sounds like you had a good trip. -- Lisa
