24...uh...23 teeth and no cavities!

The 5 of us had our bi-annual visit to the dentist yesterday. Yes, all 5 of us...at the same time...and they have us out in about an hour...they are amazing!

There is one girl that cleans my teeth, one that cleans Billie's and one that cleans all 3 of the girls' teeth. (She deserves a gold star!)

We have had the same people cleaning our teeth for the past 3 years...it really is a wonderful dental office.

The only thing that I ever hear coming from where the girls are is a lot of talking and laughing. This lady comes out to the waiting room, gets the girls and off they go! JK, LB, and AA start asking about our next dentist visit about 2 months before...it's one of their favorite places to go!

Highlights from yesterday's visit:

*AA was fine and let them take pics of her teeth (she didn't want anything to do with it last time). Yeah!

*LB was fine...she's got good room in her mouth and probably won't need any major orthodontic work done.

*JK was fine and had sealant put in her first 4 permanent molars...she was a little nervous but did great. This is just preventative...so glad my parents did this to my molars when I was 13. She needs an orthodontic consult to have an expander put in sometime in the next year. She has a very small mouth like her daddy and will more than likely have extensive work done on her mouth before it's all said and done.

Story of the day...they always count the girls' teeth and JK had 24 teeth. Until last night. We were at a friend's house for dinner and JK bit into some raw broccoli with her loose tooth. Now she has 23 teeth. Much crying ensued, but Billie had to pull it...the broccoli had done a number on it already.

Anyway...that's it for our visit. Lots of fun...no cavities!
