I know...

Two posts in one day! Don't faint!!

It's been a crazy few weeks. Just trying to update.

For starters, we now have pastor...after a year without one! Our church is very excited. Billie is excited b/c the guy is only 32! I'm excited b/c his wife homeschools! Yippee! God has worked even the small details out...He is so good!

Scott, Jennie (my best friend) and the kids came up to visit last week. Jennie and I got a little "mom break" in Atlanta while Billie and Scott took care of the 6 kids. Here's what we did...in a nutshell.

1) Left Monday morning (Billie and Scott were literally pushing us out the door...why is it that when us moms get a little break, we have a hard time leaving, then we feel guilty for taking time for ourselves...).

2) Jen and I shopped IKEA and had a complete "chick lunch" (at least that's what Billie and Scott would call it).

3) We checked into our hotel and rested for a bit, then walked to Hard Rock Cafe for dinner, where we shared a huge plate of beefy nachos (not so much a "chick dinner").

4) We proceeded to walk around downtown Atlanta, took some pics of the architecture, and had 3 people ask us for money.

5) We walked through Olympic Park on our way to Ruth's Chris Steak House, where we spent too much money on dessert (but it was so worth it!).

6) Then we went back to the hotel, got into our jammies and settled down to enjoy our chocolate while we watched "The Bachelor" (lame, I know!).

7) Then we went to bed without having to take anyone to the potty except ourselves!

It was a wonderful reconnection with my best friend and our husbands are wonderful for giving us our time together.
