Today my baby is 5 years old. Where has the time gone? She's now 25% of the way done with living with us. That's a pretty scary thought. She is such a special and sweet girl. Always asking questions about things...always keeping us straight on the order of things. She's such a firstborn!
Our lives changed so much when JK was born. For the better. I wasn't planning on having a baby at the age of 23, but God knew that we needed her!
She's a wonderful big sister...she loves her sisters to distraction. And they love her. She's smart, caring, considerate, full of compassion and ready to protect her little sisters!
Billie and I are better people now that we are parents. Yes, she's had to put up with us "practicing" our parenting skills on her...she's our little guinea pig! But she's had patience with us. We apologize to her frequently over mistakes that we make. She loves us just the same.
There is much to look foward to in the future. God is going to use her in a big way if she'll let Him!
Wow...I can't believe she's 5...
