To the dentist...and beyond!

Just wanted to do a quick update on the last couple of weeks.

What can possibly be more fun than going to the dentist for a twice yearly checkup? Give up?!? Taking two children to the dentist for a twice yearly checkup! Yes, that's how we spent the Thursday before Thanksgiving. All four of us (well, the four of us that have enough teeth) spent an hour and a half getting our pearly whites cleaned. This was LB's first time to the dentist and she did great..she couldn't wait to get up into the chair. The good news is that not one cavity was found in all 100 teeth that were looked at.

Friday was our big moving day. Several men from church came and helped moved our stuff from the rental to our new house. Everything fit, which was good! Saturday morning we started out bright and early...had to get the girls to the babysitter's house...we were going to be in Atlanta all day at a Dave Ramsey conference. So there's the house, a total wreck, and my one day to organize is shot.
Oh well...GO BUCKS!!!

So now we're at Sunday...JK wakes up with a fever, so I keep her home from church, which was good, because I wasn't feeling very well either. I was trying to get my house into some semblance of order before that night. Why, you ask? Billie's family was on their way to our house for Thanksgiving!

Yes, they arrived Sunday night...John, Kathy, Grandma Jackie, Allen and Amy (my new sister!). We had a wonderful time with all of them, and I don't think that the messy house bothered them at all. That's the great thing about family...they like you no matter what (even if your house is a complete wreck because you just moved in and you don't have doors on your cabinets!).

I truly did enjoy my visit with them. The girls loved seeing everyone and they grew quite attached to their Auntie Amy.

Everyone left our house early Wednesday morning...then the mayhem broke loose. We had to pack and get ready to go to our best friend's house in Dothan. We finally made it and our visit with them was wonderful as always. The kids loved playing together. There are six of them now...JK, LB, AA, E, A and C. Too crazy!
